Market Street

I and many of the residents of The Woodlands love to go to Market Street, it is just so nice to have this close at hand. A great place to meet friends for a lunch or dinner with several really nice restaurants there. I like to go to watch a movie with some friends and then go over to Tommy Bahamas for dinner on the Veranda. A great night out for a special treat is spending the evening at Jaspers and then walking around the specialty shops and boutiques. The best thing about living in The Woodlands is you never run out of things to do.
Central Park at Market Street- There is a lovely town green in the center of Market Street; a great place for the kids to cool off in the water fountains there. In the summer there are free concerts and everyone just sits around and listens to music. You can sit on the Veranda at Tommy Bahamas having a cool drink and enjoy all the life that is going on at the park, great to watch the people strolling by, all ages and shapes and sizes of families.

Cinemark at Market Street- The Cinemark at Market Street theatre is my favorite cinema in The Woodlands. It features a mix of popular titles combined with art and independent films in five auditoriums. I like to go here with my friends, see a movie and then walk out to the park again and have a drink in one of the restaurants and wine bars around Central Park. The movie house has digital sound, stadium seating, and plush, high-backed rocking seats, a feeling of the old plush movie houses or small theaters that are in Europe.

The Woodlands Waterway Trolley- The trolley makes stops in Market Street and will also take you from Market Street over to the Mall or the many restaurants around.
It reminds you of a smaller version of the tram cars in New Orleans.

Located across the street from The Woodlands Mall, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bounded by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and Six Pines Drive. Five minutes from the freeway, Market Street attracts visitors from all over the area to stroll along. It often has a vacation feel to the area as you are sitting in the restaurants.
